This is a love comedy that takes you behind the scenes of the latest bridal businesses, as well as the human drama of engaged couples, seen through the wedding planners' eyes, as they help to put on weddings.

Toru Oomori works in the accounting department of a medium-sized firm. Unable to escape restructuring by his company, he gets sent to work at an affiliated company, "Sweet Bridal," as its president. Toru realizes his days as a salaried worker are numbered. That's why he's determined to increase sales, and regain lost ground. But there's just one major problem though... An incident that happened one year ago makes work here, very miserable.

大森(中山裕介)是公司里的主任级干部正想升级的时候，却被派到下属婚姻策划公司做主任，很是郁闷的他来到这个小小公司。这个小公司主要工作就是帮人结婚，加奈子(饭岛直子)和宇野美(木村佳乃)是主要工作人员，小此木纯(阿部宽)开花店的， 专门为他们提供花，但是他常常泡在这里，象是公司职员一样。加奈子30多岁，有个孩子，很看不惯大森，因为他看不起他们的工作。大森一心想把公司业绩提高好回去总公司，开始卖力起来。请以前学弟现已经成名的鸣海冬平(妻夫木聪)为他们做专属摄影师，冬平开始并不热心，但由于自己工作不顺，加上为别人拍结婚照时，发现这也很有意思而开始热心起来。

大森トオル は、結婚式の最中、妻になるはずの沢田葉子 に逃げられてしまう。悲劇の１年後。トオルは、経理部からウエディングプランナーの会社「スウィートブライダル」社に社長として出向（実は左遷）した。だが、バツ一で一人息子の拓 を女手一つで育てる寺島加奈子 とは衝突が絶えず、宇野美咲 、相沢くるみ たちほかの社員も、トオルが何を言おうと取り合わない。そんなところに出入りの花屋・小此木純 や、大学の後輩で新進カメラマン・鳴海柊平 が加わって、てんやわんやのなか、様々な客が理想の結婚式を実現すべく「スウィートブライダル」を訪れるのだった。
