This is a really good series. It isn't plot-heavy, so it took a moment to grow on me. It's the impact on the well-drawn characters that is the substance of the story. This has an excellent sense of place, in Memphis. It is set in familiar territory for the characters, that early/mid 20s where you're working out career and life and such. It is handled in a refreshing and sometimes subtle manner as the characters gradually learn and grow from their experiences. All of the actors do an excellent job.
