Interesting. I watched the movie which I hadn't seen since it came out last week. Before the first episode. The movie is bad. Straight up unwatchable. I would like to say that maybe it inspired Lord of the Rings or other fantasy films after it but honestly I don't see it. The first episode of the show wasn't bad but I think I need a show that's a bit more mature. Also, it's jarring to watch a movie that see the same actors 30 years later in something else.
