叶满枝（伍咏薇 饰）是一名室内设计师，她将大部分的时间和精力都投入到了工作之中，是名副其实的女强人。叶满枝因为工作的繁忙而和家人之间的关系十分冷漠疏离，和父亲的感情尤其岌岌可危。一次偶然中，叶满枝在工作中结识了名为蔡嘉升（陈锦鸿 饰）的男子，两人因为设计理念的不同而产生了许多的误会。

之后，叶满枝因为身体原因而返回了曾经生活过的小镇休养，哪知道在那里和蔡嘉升重逢了。在蔡嘉升的帮助之下，叶满枝修复了和父亲之间破裂的亲情，在此过程中，蔡嘉升也深深的爱上了外冷内热的叶满枝。然而，还没等到蔡嘉升向叶满枝表露心迹，叶满枝就已经回到了硝烟四起的职场之中。
