According to God Howard... https://screenrant.com/fallout-tv-show-canon-games/ I'm cool with this, but this will make the show sooo picked apart.
The trailers look awesome, but I've already seen screams of woke just cause there is a female protagonist ignoring the fact that the game allows for both male or female protagonists, which the majority of players play as female. Mods for these games have also been disparagingly female centric (clothes, body types, jewelry, makeup, menstrual cycles, pregnancy, etc) and let's play and machinima videos usually portray the protagonists as female. Mod videos have even feigned apologies for not having many mods for males, but then joke, "who am I kidding, y'all don't play as men anyway". 😏

Yeah it feels like it's definitely in the same universe as Fallout 4.
The screeching from the anti-woke types is pretty laughable now, take your mewling to your weird sub-reddits please guys, no one cares.

The anti-woke crowd whine a lot more than the woke people they complain about. I'm sick of it. Women aren't allowed to be protagonists unless they're just some super sexualized bimbo. Let's ignore strong female characters like Ripley, Xena, Leia etc... strong female protagonists have always existed and been popular. These people are just ruining TV/movies for themselves at this point.
That said, there IS a non-binary character (Dane) referred to as "they" which threw me out a bit because I really doubt someone's pronoun preference would be catered to after the world ended.

I see Lesley Uggams is in this! I didn't realize that she was still alive, let alone still working. So cool! Although I don't think 'Gen Y, Z & Alpha' even know who she is. She had her own variety show (although it only lasted 10 episodes). She is an Emmy winner & a Tony winner.

She was super-popular throughout especially the '70s (actually probably starting mid-'60s?) and '80s. I, too, just assumed, at this late date, that she "must not be around anymore," as haven't seen her in anything new in years. Good to learn, from this thread, that she's not only still alive but still acting. I've always very much liked Lesley Uggams.

I remember her from an episode of "The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. (1966-1967)" and "Roots (1977)". Younger MCU fans know her from the Deadpool's franchise, where she plays Blind Al.
