Disappointed with Last Seasons

TB started as one of the most creative vampire TV shows, and turned into a fatal mess. I still rate it highly because its characters (at least some of them) became "native" to me.
Still hate what they did to Tara. Call me mad but I always wanted her to end up with Jason.

I never watched the final season, I only read what happened. The Bill/Sookie back and forth was exhausting.
Tara was too good for Jason, but yeah the writers really didn't know what to do with her.
