I just don't understand why she's sticking around. Shes useless in this game and people will end up looking bad if they put her up cause she's helpless. Big Brother should not have given her the option to stay or go, it just doesn't seem fair.

I agree especially if someone like Dom pulls out her name for a veto comp. At least for physical comps, her name shouldn't even be in the running.

Well to make things fair since the HGs don't know what type of comp it is until they get out into the backyard, her name should still be in the running. For the fairness of all the HGs, I don't think production is able to say what type of compthe Veto is going to be.True in 90% of the comps physicality is involved so having Christmas not in the running seems like a good choice.
I do also agree that to save all this aggravation, they should've not given Christmas that option to stay and say she's out of the house for good because of the injury.

If that's the case, they should have a backup person in case someone pulls Christmas' name, because essentially, Dom didn't have an opportunity to have someone playing in the veto.
I agree, but I don't think all injuries require an exit from the show. An injury like Christmas -- that required surgery -- definitely deserved to be exited from the show. Heck, that's what they do on Survivor.

I totally agree with this, for an injury as serious as hers (and she said she will require several more surgeries down the road) she should not have been given options. She is in no condition to compete, and I like Christmas, but she really should go.

Pretty much preaching to the choir OP.
But...
This is prolly why they're doing it. To make up another storyline about who's gonna have the balls to put her up and will the HGS have the balls to vote her out without the fear of looking like the bad guy.
Then again, maybe it's similar to the workplace where an employee can be out on disability leave? Maybe to avoid a potential lawsuit they gave her the option to stay or leave?

I agree with both, like on Survivor if there's some kind of fatal injury that can make them eventually unable to compete, then they are pulled from the game. In Christmas' case with her going to need more surgery down the road, and being out of the house as a result, she's going to have to miss certain competitions anyway. Like I said before, with 90% of these competitions having some form of physical work, there's no chance of her being able to do them. They should've just ejected her from the game for medical reasons and give her a chance to possibly come back next season

I don't know if it has been officially been confirmed by the producers, but on last nights live feed Kevin and Christmas were talking about her coming back on next season, Christmas said she's probably not going to like the next season cast members and she's going to miss those TV chat sessions they do now.

Wait, are they going to allow Christmas to stay on this season AND bore us next season as well?

I'm surprised they let her compete on the HOH with her foot. Having her stand there with her foot on some cart thing for hours, how is that possible when she said the doctors said it's not possible to have full mobility anymore?

Well, it seems as if BB checks with the doc to get clearance. Personally, Christmas needs to check out and think about her body, because she's not going to win.

And with all the other surgeries she says she still has to have, I don't see her winning if she returns next season either.
Don't the jury members get paid
something? Maybe she just wants to make it to jury?
....or is she seriously thinking they will have sympathy and she will be in the final 4 and she can actually pull out a win?

I think that's one of the reasons she decided to stay is that she could play the sympathy card and hoping people will carry her to the end.

Maybe, that's why she was having a pity-party for one when she was crying to Matt or whoever about no one coming to greet her when she came back into the house. This sympathy card that she expects may not come at all, but the little bit of health she has can be fleeting, if she neglects her body and does this crazy challenges that no one will remember next year.

...and if the show allows her to return next season, she can try the same thing all over again.
