Semi-feral cat Pretty Tom has a suspicious-looking lump on his face, Vera the prized Zwartbles ewe needs help giving birth, Obi Wan the doberman is lame and in pain, a young donkey needs to be stopped from sexually harassing his dad, and a hyperactive Russian hamster needs surgery.

Julian Norton has a large lump to remove from between a Highland cow's horns, then must find out why an event horse has broken out in lumps from head to hoof. Meanwhile, Peter helps a first-time mum deliver her lambs and treats a micro-pig who has outgrown his house and is under the weather.

Thirteen smelly ferrets causechaos, Zoe reunites a stray dog with her extremely surprised owner, and Obi the Doberman vomits up a pair of scissors.

Young working dog Ted has fallen ill after running through a field of barley. His owner Amy rushes him down to the practice at nearly midnight, and Julian fears that Ted has inhaled some grain into his lungs, which could put his life in danger.
