Hello,
I’d like to request a reclassification of the following TV entry as a “Limited Series” / “Miniseries”, since it meets the official TMDb criteria.
Series title: CHABOS TMDb link: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/289111-chabos
Reasons: – The show consists of only one season. – It has a fixed number of episodes. – It is fully concluded, with no continuation or second season planned. – It was marketed and structured as a miniseries.
Sources: https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt32580215/
According to the TMDb guidelines, this qualifies as a limited series.
Could a moderator review this and change the classification if appropriate?
Thanks in advance for your help! Akimacki

I'm not sure what you are waiting for?
You changed the data field to "Miniseries" yourself on July 29th, 2025:

What do you want us moderators to do?!?

Hey Janar, thanks for the quick reply! 😊 My goal is to log/rate the series on Letterboxd. I noticed that it’s still not showing up there, and I was wondering if that could as its listed as “Returning Series”.
Now that it’s marked as a “Miniseries”, is there anything else I should check or update to make it show up on Letterboxd?
Would appreciate any advice – thanks again! 🙌

No, I don't think that's a problem.
I'm not familiar with Letterboxd, but users on reddit write:
"If it is on themoviedb.org as a movie or miniseries but hasn't imported yet, you can manually trigger an import yourself by following the instructions on this page: https://letterboxd.com/about/film-data/"
https://www.reddit.com/r/Letterboxd/comments/z3i389/what_decides_if_a_limited_series_is_on_letterboxd/
All I can see is an email address where you can request the import of the miniseries.
Not sure if it works, but it's worth a try.

Thank you so much!! :) This was very helpful and worked out!
Last question: I would like to change the runtime of the Miniseries to 275minutes, but I cannot change it. Can you help out? 🙌

Great!
The data field "Runtime" on the main page does not mean full runtime of an entire miniseries/tv show!
It is meant for the "general duration of one episode."
The full rule for runtime is here:
https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/tv/59f73eb49251416e7100001f#59f7403f9251416e7100002e
Quote:
"Runtime can be entered at both the series and episode level. For shows with variable runtime per episode, you should enter the value for each episode separately and leave the runtime on the series level blank. For shows with a consistent runtime, it's better to enter a single value on the series level. Runtimes can then be backfilled to the episode periodically."
I assume that the data field "Runtime" on the main page was locked by another moderator in anticipation that the episodes have a variable runtime.
That's according to our rules.
(When the show airs, we have to check if that's correct.)
I assume that users of and letterboxd itself uses the data field "Runtime" on the main page as full series runtime.
But as you can see, that's not the way it is intended here on TMDb.
Letterboxd should find a way to implement this differently - this is out of our hands here on TMDb.

Only the movies are automatically imported by Letterboxd.
For a miniseries, it is mandatory to kindly ask them to import it.
