The Movie Database Support

Filtering by year doesn't work. If I search for a movie filtered by year, both the website and my Jellyfin server are just ignoring the year filter and showing other movies.
Example: Searching 'The Addams Family y:2019' results in The Addams Family (1991) showing up.

That's because the year doesn't mean the year of premiere (first release), but the year of a release - of any sort.

This film had a 2019 physical release in UAE: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/2907-the-addams-family/releases

Yes, it would be nice if we were able to search by the premiere year. My guess is that it might have been done this way due to people perceiving different years as the year a movie comes out - some would expect it to be the first release (which may be at a festival or similar), others - a wide theatrical release, plus the theatrical releases (as well as festival releases, of course) vary by country.

Is there some way to turn that off? Because I hate it.
