The Movie Database Support

I have stored nearly 500 movies on my hard drive and set up an Emby Server to manage them as a media library. However, I encountered a major issue when identifying the movies and generating posters and other metadata: a significant number of movies were misidentified. I can confirm their filenames are actually correct. While troubleshooting, I discovered that when searching directly on tmdb.org (not via API), if the words in the movie's title within the filename are joined by '.' characters instead of spaces, you cannot find the movie. I believe this is the main issue. You won't encounter this problem on imdb.com.include ‘.’ without '.' Has anyone else experienced a similar issue or know of a solution to this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
