I’ve built a mobile app that uses the TMDb API to help users discover movies and TV shows. The app does not stream or host any media—it simply shows metadata like posters, descriptions, and where the content is currently available to stream (e.g., "Available on Netflix").

The app is free to use and includes:

• A non-paywalled experience for all users
• Basic ad placements
• An optional subscription that removes ads (no additional features are unlocked)

I’m reviewing the API Terms of Use and want to confirm:

1. Is this considered a commercial use case under TMDb’s current terms?
2. Would I need to apply for a commercial license before publishing, or only once revenue is generated?
3. Are there any restrictions I should be aware of for ad-supported apps that use the API?

TMDb attribution is clearly provided in-app and in the App Store description as required.
