I don't think the admin, Travis Bell, has any plans to add any more genres.

I suggest using the keyword feature.

Ideally yes, but the TMDB-Bot is purging the "stand-up comedy" tag (e.g. https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1195480-pete-holmes-i-am-not-for-everyone/changes, https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/57573-craig-ferguson-does-this-need-to-be-said/changes). Is there somewhere we can look to see the discussion around why the TMDB-Bot has been instructed to do something?
