On the API terms of use page it says that "Use the TMDB APIs or TMDB Content in connection with, including for training, a machine learning (ML) or artificial intelligence (AI) based Application" is prohibited. Let's say we had an application that provided functionality similar to what the TMDB site provides and there is a recommendations page/component. In this component, the app would look at stuff you have liked and provide additional content that you might like. This would be like the "Your next watch" section on Netflix. It's a part of the application, but isn't the primary focus. So, if the recommendation engine in the app used ML/AI to generate movie/tv suggestions would that be a permissible use for TMDB data?
