I want to add the year a movie was released to my webhook query due to some movies pulling tv series instead (i.e. 21 Jump Street (2012) instead of 21 Jump Street series).
This is my current webhook.
https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie.
I tried to add &include_year at the end but that isn't working.
In addition, I am using Notion to enter the name followed by ; (i.e. 21 jump street;) which prompts it to launch the subhook.
Would I also submit it as name, year; (i.e. 21 jump street, 2012;)?
Thanks for any assistance.

As indicated in the API documentation, the date should be entered in the form &primary_release_year=year

Thanks. For the way my Notion database is setup, I had to use 'https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?&year=?'. I then entered '21 jump street[2012m;' and it worked to pull the movie info instead of the tv series info.

You need to use &primary_release_year instead of &year . If you use &year, it will take in account all the release dates listed for each movie and not only the original release.
Note : I suppose that you have api_key=key between the "?" and the "&".
Using https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie, you will always get informations about a movie and never a series
