maybe I am misguided about what the API is for so forgive me, if I am wrong here.

I have a filmography (coming from a long term research project at a German university) of roughly 10,000 titles (films and tv-show-episodes) that is accurate in terms of original title, release year, director, even has a lot of summaries and so forth. About 5500 titles have a imdb referrer, many of the others are referred to TMDB, filmportal.de or other internet filmlists. However, many have neither IMDB or TMDB IDs, which are mandatory for services such as Plex, hence I'd like to import these films into the TMDB. The list exists as google sheet.

I want to add these films to the TMDB. How can I achieve this automatically? Does TMDB accept entries with referrers other than IMDB?
