I have seen discussions that there was 40 requests per 10 second limit before, and now they have disabled that and it is around 50 requests per second. I am keeping my requests way low below the 50 requests per second limit like half of it but still after sometime I start getting 429 errors. Are there some hidden rate limits? What exactly is the limit? If someone can point it out it will be really helpful

Maybe it's the scraping limit on the website and not the API service.
Another user reported the same problem.
And admin Travis Bell gave the following information (2024-01-02).

Furthermore, you can now check your request count and see if they have exceeded the limits specified above.
See here: https://www.themoviedb.org/session
Requests (24h): XX
Requests (12h): XX

I am using the API service and using API key for requests as mentioned in the docs.

As far as I know, there has been no change in the limits.
It may be that there was a DDoS attack and the limit was reduced.
Only Admin Travis Bell will be able to clarify this.
Please post the full text (copy and paste) of the error message you received here.
It may help to clarify this.
