TV Series List - Airing Today - Talk — The Movie Database (TMDB)

Currently using below endpoint to pull shows airing today. When I go to TMDB and check out the shows airing today, I notice a large difference between what is being shown and what the API is responding with. Yes, I am using the same filters.

"https://api.themoviedb.org/3/tv/airing_today?language=en-US&page=1&region=US"

Also, I believe this is the same case for popular and on TV.

When using US, I am getting lots of foreign films it seems.

Try this

https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/tv?api_key=${YOUR_API_KEY}&page=1&sort_by=popularity.desc&watch_region=US&with_watch_monetization_types=flatrate|free|ads|rent|buy&air_date.gte=2024-08-20

Or, if you only want the origin country to be the US and exclude any foreign countries add parameter with_origin_country=US

https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/tv?api_key=${YOUR_API_KEY}&page=1&sort_by=popularity.desc&watch_region=US&with_watch_monetization_types=flatrate|free|ads|rent|buy&with_origin_country=US&air_date.gte=2024-08-20
