I'm a long time user of Mezzmo, a media streaming program which I use to organize my catalog of movies, TV shows, music, etc. Up until recently, when adding new movies, populating new movie entries with metadata was very straightforward; just push a few buttons and it was there. No longer; now I get an error message. A little digging reveals that this site has been the sole source for this metadata for some time, but that access has been recently blocked. What happened? What can be done to restore this access? Please advise. Thanks.

Hi @jeauxbleaux,
I've never heard of the app you're talking about and we haven't made any changes. Without an error or anything I can't really hypothesize what might be happening.

Hi Travis,
Mezzmo is a free program for PCs and mobile devices (available at mezzmo.com) which allows a user to stream their music, movie and TV show media libraries. I've been a user for over ten years. When adding movies to the database, the program performs a metadata lookup on TMDB, which has worked quite well until a couple of months ago. I (and all other Mezzmo users) now get an generic error message. Can you check this out? Much appreciated.

I found this post by Paul (who looks like he's one of the main guys behind Mezzmo) who says we blocked access. As far as I can tell, that is not true.
What I can see that happened is that Paul had an account on TMDB (which is the account that Mezzmo's API key belonged to) that he deleted. Along with it would have been Mezzmo's API key.
I don't know why he decided to delete his account and API key.

same problem to me with the software have made a support ticket at conceiva about this . i have a full version of the software since 10 years
