In the case of Movie, it means the world premiere date.
The date that determines the year is in parentheses on the Movie's main page.
But if in the Request you used the filter "®ion=" then it will be the Premier date in the region, country.
In the case of TV, it means the world premiere date.
TV does not have premiere dates by country or region.
