The Movie Database 支持

Application: Kodi 20.2 Information Provider: The Movie Database Python

Movie file is named "Easy A (2010).mkv" instead scrapes to library as Easy Money (2010), a completely different movie. There does not seem to be any ambiguous entries on the movie pages to cause erroneous selection.

Any search by name or title typically returns several possibilities.
Both in the WEB interface and in the API service.
https://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=Easy+A+y:2010
The search does not return exact titles/names first.

Does the Addon you are using present a list of results for you to choose from?
Or does it automatically select the first item in the answer?

I believe it automatically selects the first result returned. Once the media type for a folder is selected, media is scraped and added to the database automatically without input. I'm using the default build-in official TMDB information provider add-on.

I believe that if you ask for help on this addon's forum you will have a better chance of solving the problem.
Maybe create a primary NFO in the movie folder. Only with the correct ID.

Reading this page, I saw that it is possible to enter the ID in the search.

Sorry, though the add-on was made by TMDB. I'll try to find who makes it.

This Addon was not created by TMDb.
TMDb does not own or create any APP or Addon.
It was created by a Kodi team.
See the data on the link page.
Author: Team Kodi

EDIT
Here is the Addon forum
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=344580
We maintain good relations with them.
I believe that this possibility of searching using ID arose from conversations between our admin, Travis Bell, and an addon member, Karellen.

No, the addon is not made by us. It just use our API.

The simple way to force it to scrape the correct movie is to use a parsing NFO.
