Hi there, I have created the app and uploaded to the AppStore but they responded with the following:
Your app contains content or features that may violate the rights of one or more third parties. Specifically, your app provides potentially unauthorized access to third-party audio or video streaming, catalogs, and discovery services. Your app and its contents should not infringe upon the rights of another party. In the event your app infringes another party’s rights, you are responsible for any liability to Apple because of a claim. https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/#intellectual-property
I responded with the following:
All movie information and images are from tmdb.org and their provided API (https://developer.themoviedb.org/docs) licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0:https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/
But Apple responded with
you have not provided sufficient documentation to demonstrate that you are currently authorized by the rights holder to represent the products or services included in your app. It would be appropriate to either submit documentation demonstrating this authorization or to remove any third-party imagery or likeness from your app icon and marketing screenshots. Once you’ve made the appropriate revisions to your app and its metadata and address the issue with Guideline 2.1
What do you recommend to provide to Apple and do you have any kind of documentation?
