The Movie Database Support

How much time does TMDB take to update the data in the API and make it same as the original TMDB website? For example: I searched for upcoming movies within the API data and saw it to be one month older than what current TMDB website is showing.

A month is very strange.
Usually it can take up to 8 hours.

Problems with API Request

In order for someone to help you with API Request questions,
it is critical that you post here the API Request you are sending to the TMDb server.
Remember to replace your Key with MY_KEY , YOUR_KEY , THE_KEY , or something like that.

Not the programming code/script you used to build the API Request.
But the API Request that is sent to the TMDb server.
Or the API Request you would like to send.

Thank you for responding but...also sorry that you misunderstood me. I'm not talking about updating "post" requests like adding movies or something through APIs. I just wanted to know how much time it takes for the TMDB API to get updated with the latest data, e.g., the latest upcoming movies have been updated on the TMDB homepage website but not in the API. For example, movies like Flash, the pope's exorcist and others were released at least a month ago but are still being shown in the upcoming movies list when called through APIs although the TMDB website "https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/upcoming" has already been updated with the new upcoming movies.

I asked you to post here the API Request used because there is a "region" parameter that can change the response data.
Did you use the "region" parameter?
What value did you specify for "region"?
A film may already have premiered in one country but not yet premiered in another country.
If you didn't use the region parameter then the movie might still be in the "upcoming" response because in fact in some country in the world it's yet to be released.
Can you post here the API Request you used?
Or for some reason you prefer not to post?

The API request is like - const BASE_URL = "https://api.themoviedb.org/3"; const headers = { Authorization:bearer ${TMDB_TOKEN}, }; const {data} = await axios.get( BASE_URL + "/movie/upcoming" ,{ headers, params }) return data;

Try using the "region" parameter.
It will probably solve the problem.
In the example below I use BR, from my country.
You can try using your country's ISO 3166-1 code.
Take a quiz. See the difference.

https://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/upcoming?api_key=THE_KEY&language=en-US&page=1&region=BR
