Requirement for a commercial API for my Android app to be released on the Play Store

Hello! I'm currently working on an Android mobile app that utilizes your API. I'm curious to know whether I would require a commercial API when I eventually release the app on the Play Store. In addition to integrating Google AdMob for advertising, I also plan to offer users the option to subscribe to a paid version of the app, which would provide an ad-free experience and unlock certain additional features. Could you please provide guidance on whether I need a commercial API for this purpose?

Hi @GideonEyiah,
Based on your description, you don't need to worry about changing your type. A developer key is fine. Just be sure to attribute TMDB as the source of whatever data and/or images you're using.
