Support for cast/crew translation

Hello,
several (old) posts already raised the issue of crew/cast translation :
- Transliteration (Translation) of Crew and Cast section - 2013
- Translation of Cast/Crew - 2014
- Translation Language and Cast/Crew et al? - 2015
The temporary solution of alternative names with slashes starts to show its limits (cf. Overly long character names). A lot of contributors and developers seem to need this feature. I need it myself and I don't understand why it hasn't been implemented yet.
Is crew and cast translation support still planned as of today ?
Do you think of this feature as a low priority task or is there any reason which would complicate such an implementation ? (a technical/policy issue maybe ?)
Please don't take this as a provocation of any sort, I admire the hard work of every developer and contributor of this marvelous project ! I'm just begging for a lil more marvelousness here ; )

HI @zM_,
Assuming you're asking about translating person and character names, my current ticket for these are here, and here. You can vote for and/or follow those tickets for updates.
Still on my radar for sure, up until now, the only person building all of TMDb has been me, and TMDb has simply gotten too big lately for me to get much engineering done anymore. Luckily, I've secured the funding to bring on a few engineers so we should start to get some of these old low tickets done this year. Thanks for your patience.
