How do I filter through certain genres?

Hi there! I'm building my first API javascript application and I want to basically list movies based on certain moods :psychological, existential, futuristic. Now, i've read the genre ID's, and have come up with id's for most of my movies. I've accepted the fact that there is no "psychological thriller" listed.
is there anyway to list all the id's that each movie contains, without getting results from other movies?
like for example, ex machina is 18, 878, birdman is 18,35 eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is 878,18,10749
I DONT KNOW how to move forward. Would I have to list all the id's? It's a very comprehensive website for API documentation I just don't know how to use it in my case? Help would be appreciated, thank you :)

Hi @chiara_elena
It sounds like you're interested in the discover method. You can filter results with the genre ids and by using either a comma or pipe separated value (an 'AND' / 'OR' query).
Does that get you what you're looking for?
