The Movie Database Support

Hi folks!

I know that there is a thread where this subject was discussed before. But I wanna make sure. It's a questions for you guys, who run this website.

Do I need a commercial license, if I place some ads on my private website (where I make use of your api). It's not the aim to make revenue (there won't be much anyway), but to finance the costs to run my website.

I do not charge fees or sell anything.

Does this compy with a private license? What do you think?

If I needed a commercial license, how much are the charges?

Many thanks in advance, Heiko

Also interested in the cost It's a labour of love but I think I need a commercial licence for it - if not extortionately high then I don't mind paying

Don't pin me down on it, but I think I've seen another thread like this and that Travis said that advertisements like google ads or something was fine.

Ya, ads are fine and not a problem. We don't charge for usage of our service. Just be sure to properly attribute TMDb as the source of the data and/or images you use.

Cheers.
