Here is the overview of one of the "fairy" movies "If you liked fairy tales as a child, you're going to love them even more now because four classic stories have been given a modern re-telling that is strictly for adults. See Pinnochio, Snow White, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood as you've never seen or heard them before - with plenty of kinky encounters and erotic action that would make the Brothers Grimm blush. They may be pure and innocent young women in print, but in Naughty Fairy Tales, Cinderella, Snow White and Little Red are brought to life as luscious, hot-blooded beauties craving endless pleasure and sensual satisfaction. And just wait till you see what Pinnochio has up his sleeve. There's no \"moral\" to these sexy, uncensored and unbelievable tales, just \"immoral!\""
How can I filter this out when adult was set to false in the query string. Do I have to run my own filter on the content that comes from the Movie Database API? I wouldn't mind if this occurred once, but every query string I run comes back with adult content. What is the purpose of the filter?

I think maybe you could filter the ratings for the release dates for movies?

Thanks for the reply Marr. Here is the query string: https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key=2c8889cb44ec3da352062419180957cf&language=en-US&query=fairy&page=1&include_adult=falseยฎion=fairy&year=>1960'.
You can see that I specified include_adult=false. I am hoping that someone at theMovieDB says "oops, we messed up" we will fix it. Otherwise I will have to run my own filter on filtered content and that slows down the speed that the page gets served.

Adult=false only filters out the hardcore porn stuff. Fifty Shades of Grey (although that's not sci-fi/fantasy, just for the sake of argument), Cinderella, and the likes will still appear I'm afraid.

Ok. Good to know. I will need to build my own filter to delete records with objectionable material. Thanks for the heads up.

Exactly! That's why I suggest (I got no specific knowledge about API stuff) the ratings. I think a G/PG movie won't have objectionable content! PG-13 is a whole other things though.
