I've tried: https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?query=avatar&sort_by=popularity.asc&language=en-US&api_key=XXX https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?query=avatar&sort_by=popularity.desc&language=en-US&api_key=XXX
and the results are in the same order..
