I just got done doing the Udacity exercise that had me build an Android app that connects to this API. The app I built works perfectly in an emulator, but the moment I try to run it from an actual phone none of the images from the API load. Then I visited themoviedb.org on my phone and found that none of the images on the front page of the site even load! They load fine from my PC. Any idea what's going on here? Thanks.

Hi @gavingt I am not sure what could be causing that. I have never heard/seen anyone have this problem.
Is it still happening? If it is, what is shown to you when you go directly to an image, like this:

The image opens fine on my computer, but on my phone it shows this: http://i.imgur.com/cwbYtjD.png
Actually, what's weird is that I tried this on three of my Android devices. The above behavior happened on two of them, and on the third one it worked fine. So it must be something unique to how I have those two phones set up that's blocking it. I've never experienced this with other sites, though.

Weird indeed!
Google returned this page with some (maybe?) useful hints.

I'm not sure if I can be much more useful... Any chance you can give a couple of those things a try and report back?
