Movies and Tv shows genres

Is there a reason why there are two resources for that? And is there a risk that one id for a movie genre is another one for a tv show, or are they synced?

Currently, the canonical list of movie and TV genres are different. There is some overlap though, Drama for instance is the same id in both.

Ok. Is it the same for keywords?

Both are just a one to many association. It's just with genres we keep a valid list of what's allowed to be used. With keywords, anything can be added. Keywords share the same keyword db for movies and TV shows.
