search by original language

i understand that API support translated language filter .

Can we please have original language, or spoken language search.

i been searching about this and i see many have requested for this since 2012. no action has been taken by TMDB to implement this yet.

would be awesome if they are willing to put some time into this api request. this is a much important filter to implement, as not all website support english. please do not generalise, some sites might only want to filter by chinese movies or tamil movies. these have no option but to do complicated long queries.

please consider this request.

Hi nero12,

I have some ideas around what this could look like but don't have it on my immediate list of things to do. I have some plans on tearing down search all together and supporting native language searches and don't think I'll bother hooking this up until then.

Thanks for your immediate response much appreciated.

however I saw a similar response few years back. I that it is planned but not in your immediate list of things to do.

I understand other issues might be important. But I just believe tmdb has only grown since and today cover a wide area of native language movies.

Anyway I don't want to be a burden. But I hope u will take notice of the request and understand the importance and the wider reach this will bring.
