Rate limiting error

Hello there TMDB Community, I use the tmdb API to renew my movie database in a WordPress Site. I get the information fromt the API using curl. Even though i never do even 40 requests per 10 seconds, the status code 25 comes up really often with requests over 100!! Even when i dont run anything for like a whole day, when i try to use the api it always returns tha i am over the allowed request limit. Any tips? Thank you in advance!

Hi skunklomenos,
Are you running your site on a shared host of a sort? We rate limit by IP address, not API key so if there are others using the API on the same server as you, they will all count against the same limit.
