Just wondering if anyone knows what the popularity element returned in the following URL https://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/now_playing? is actually based off? Is it based off of community votes, box office sales ? thanks!

When you say views are you talking about people who have viewed that movie on the website or something like box office for the particular week? Thanks for your reply and apologies for my late response.
