This error means the video you are trying to add already exists. Videos are per translation so if it's an error (ie. an English video added to the Greek translation) you can go to the Greek translation and remove it so that you can go back to the English translation and add it without getting an error.

Hi Travis. Thanks very much for letting me know how to fix the issue.

No offence, but to me this just seems like a bad way of doing it, because I had the wedding crasher trailer already added to English a year ago but I recently rescraped my movies.

So obviously someone deleted it to put it in there native language, even though the trailer is an English trailer.

Why haven't you guys got it setup so that anyone can put any trailer multiple times in in each language?

There must be some reasoning behind this that I don't understand.

Over the past few years we've been working pretty hard towards cleaning up and maintaining a much cleaner database. A huge part of this effort has been to ensure data doesn't get unnecessarily duplicated and this video case is a good example.

The "back and forth" of moving data around like what likely happened here isn't all that common anymore but can still happen from time to time. We can't currently lock videos but that would have helped here. At the same time, I am not all that happy with our current YouTube model and am looking into some other ideas, so basically, this whole thing is somewhat of a state of flux at the moment.
