The Revenant backdrop

I'm not sure if some users are trolling, but the image I've linked below is the top rated backdrop for The Revenant, but it's really low quality. I've noticed the user that uploaded it is a moderator, so I'm not sure if there's something happening when the image is downloaded or what. Other images look much better. I would expect that the quality I'm seeing wouldn't be allowed here but certainly not voted so highly.

I did a google image search and couldn't find any image that size in good quality. So maybe it was a smaller image that was scaled up at some point. Anyhow, I deleted it.

I think that was my backdrop... but the ones I uploaded are taken from the official website. I take it they are not upscaled! :)

I just checked the american/international website, and in that gallery the image appears too. Slightly different resolution..
I suppose I could find it in the Dutch movie database for distributors and theatres too though. in a huge HQ size, but I always only check that if I can't find any good images on official websites.

Yeah, it is clearly lower quality there as well. We have had a few cases like this in the past when the official quality is not up to our standard! Can you link the HQ version to see if that one is any different?

I'm kinda disappointed as to what I see on there :// Usually it's like 4134 × 2325 or 3200 × 2145.
This one is kinda wide though, but the height is super low, so the aspect ratio is screwed. I posted the original from that database on imgur for access: http://imgur.com/a/ga6kx
The above one is the original, the second one i cropped to 16:9 ratio, so yeah, on there I couldn't find a 1920x1080 one, maybe it is upscaled on the official website? But that seems weird, why would the official website people do that ;c
The Dutch posters are super HQ though <3. I uploaded a second one, and I noticed that someone unlocked the first Dutch poster I uploaded and changed it to English and locked it again. I changed that back to Dutch. That we don't translate taglines, movie titles and credits doesn't mean we don't have posters the "28 januari in de bioscoop" and website ("TheRevenant.nl") are definitely Dutch _^

Yeah, something strange with the promo images. I remember now that one issue with low quality official promo images in the past was for some of the images for Nymphomaniac.
