This difference in our point of views belongs to the cultural difference between us.Any way I suggest adding a category for topics that may concern females only like "Menstruation" as this movie shows.

There's 2 ways you can filter content for your users, by certification and the adult flag that can both indicate the expected viewing age for the content.

We also support keywords so if you wanted to add some relevant keywords then you are free to do so and filter them locally.

Other than the methods mentioned above, there probably won't ever be any more options for filtering out themes and topics of content.

When you say adult content, what kind are we talking about? The adult flag on TMDb is only meant to indicate pornographic content and will not show unless you specify include_adult=true.

When using the certification filters, as per the documentation, you need to specify a certification_country alongside the certification.lte filter. Ie.

The Penthouse Presents movie is a softcore movie (German rating is 16, not 18, which means no hardcore porn) and traditionally we have allowed softcore without the adult status set to true. Therefore I changed it back. Of course some users in the past have argued that anything with nudity should be considered an adult movie, but like Travis said we use the adult designation for porn only.

I think any movie with a rating age should have adult parameter set to true. 

To make things clear , my android app uses a gridview that shows all movies' posters I got from you within that gridview. How can I warn my users about possible porn content ( posters that show nudes as you like to call ) given that my app is not a pornographic app ??!!

That is a slightly different issue as for non-adult titles there should normally not be any nudity in posters or backdrops (in some cases we have made exceptions) and this cover art features topless nudity. I will likely delete the poster in this case, but I will think about it until I get back home again tonight. If another moderator (or Travis) wants to fix it before that just go ahead.
