Hello, I'm represent a big community from Israel. we have access to over than 5,000 records of movies that we want to update here, they are in Hebrew.
We can produce this information in many kind of forms (xml\txt\html ...) so please, just ask - and we will give you all the data that is required.
I REALLY Hope to a positive reply from you, because we are huge fans of this site. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words!
Unfortunately, we do not have any kind of write API or bulk import format at this time. The only way to add missing data is to use the website. I hope you guys can still find some time to get some of the missing Hebrew data added.

Hey Travis, and thanks for your quick reply.
In that case, I wonder if it will be ok to use the website with some kind of scripts\automation from our sides? we have some developers who can write scripts to auto insert the data, but I worried that they will be blocked from your server as a way of protection from flood\spam.
we really need to find some way to just 'push' it, its a massive update.

I have typically been ok with this but I've just cautioned anyone thinking of it. Primarily because this isn't an API, the backend form processing could change.
Movies are pretty stable now, since I just updated everything but TV is just about to get that treatment so you might want to wait on TV if you have any TV content.
We don't typically ban people unless it's sustained abuse like traffic, contributions like this wouldn't be seen as such. The last thing I'll say is to try and keep the volume respectable. Understandably, the website is not designed for a massive write load ;)

OK Great. so for now, we will just try to make the update process more easy for us (sorting our data\auto copy-paste scripts..etc) thank you again.

OK, Just to update, I asked 200 users to update more than 12000 movies, we inserted the Translated title and overview successfully, all in 4-5 hours total. We are huge fans of this site, and hope that our little gesture will help it to grow.
