Just wanted some advice prior to going live with my website.

I have been working on my website TV That Rocks for just over a year (I know a year...) I am using the TMDB API to get data and at present there will be no fees to sign up all accounts will be FREE. In the future though I will be taking donations to help fund the community and wondered would this constitute applying for a commercial API key? For anyone that donates the they would receive a VIP status giving them extra privileges.

My question is would I need to request permission prior to going live or at all in the future?

Btw. Really have liked working with the API, great documentation and look forward to future updates.
