I am using the API for my university project. I only use the discover feature of the API. I build the discover request like this: var request = "http://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie?with_genres=" + genre + "&sort_by=" + order + "&primary_release_year=" + year + "&page=" + page +"&api_key=" + apiKey;
It was working quite well until our instructor opened assignments for peer review. So other students are currently reviewing my project and it is not working now.
I receive object with an empty results like this: Object {page: 1, results: Array[0], total_results: 0, total_pages: 1}
I am thinking if this is a request limit issue or something similar that I'm not aware of since I am new to this API. I really need a quick reply, because this will be affecting my grading of the assignment.

Hi there,
I will need to see an exact query I think because this is working fine for me:

Hi,
I was using the query like this when there year isn't selected and it was working:
https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie?api_key=###&with_genres=18&sort_by=popularity.desc&primary_release_year=0&page=1
But I think it has changed now because the results are empty when the year is set to 0. It works fine for other year options(2014, 2013..). I fixed the problem by removing the "primary_release_year" from the query completely instead of setting it to 0. I think its an improvement, however I couldn't see it in the recent updates.
Thanks for replying quickly!
