configuration method.

Hi, if I check for the 'Configuration' once per 24 hours, will this create some kind of problem, violation of some kind, sort of spam? I just need to be sure it is not changed, 2 weeks, for example is long period of times to be sure, since it can create 13 days of Bad URL in my query.
