Login problems

I had login problems yesterday, I tried to login and got the answer the username doesn't exist, I had to change the first letter of my username to Samara instead of samara as usual and then I could login, something must have changed within this process maybe some users will have the same problem so I think it would be good to have a look at this if it is possible

Yes, I had to change the login lookup to be exact (it used to not be case sensitive). There's some technical reasons behind this but unfortunately it's not something I'm likely to revert.

Thanks for the answer, maybe there could be a small note on the login page for the users writing their account name accurately ?

Thank you for Samara for posting this. if not i will not know the login is case sensitive now. because i suddenly get logged out today and the username i have is not recognized anymore,
anyway it's a bad idea to use Case Sensitive Login Name since many problem occur like

Hi TehBotolSosro,
Signing up for an account is different than logging in ;) Signing up for an account doesn't check case, we make sure your username is unique at that time.
