Problem with API

I am trying to install a third party application which uses your API in order to provide your extremely good looking and well documented DB of movies and actors in my site. When i request a movie the component in my Joomla site writes "Movies haven't found" After talk to the developer and grand him some access to my site he told this:
{"status_code":7,"status_message":"Invalid API key: You must be granted a valid key."}
it mean that your API key is invalid.
Can you please tell me if and how can i update my API key in order to make this done?

Hi Thanasis,
Here's an example call with your API key working (I've obfuscated it for privacy):
You'll have to talk to your developer and find the issue in the Joomla plugin.

Is there any other way to use your API for a website in order to bring movies and people in my site?

You can use the API in any way you or your developer can dream up. You can see a small sample of the apps using TMDb on our apps page.
