how do i use api ???

hi i'm very new to all of this. I think an api is used to get the movie info and backdrops from this website into your own library. If this is correct how do i do it? I've already applied and was approved for one i have my API code i just don't know what to do with it.

Hi dfrost1980,
You will need to be familiar with programming in order to use our API. If you are, depending what language you prefer, you can check out our user contributed libraries to see if there's one that can help you.
Unfortunately, there isn't really much of a way for me to tell you how to do all this as these are all fairly higher level things you would beed experience with.

Hi,
Is there a Java API/library interface I prefer Java, or javascript.
Thank you Steve (an old assembler language developer)
