Hi, I'm trying to retrieve a season data from the API. As far as I know:
/tv/$idTVShow gives
me a TVShow
/tv/$idTVShow/season/$numSeason
gives me a Season
What I'm locking for is a way, knowing the Season ID (not the number), to get it. I mean, the web is able to do that ( https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/season/3573 ), where 3573 is a season ID, but if I try something similar the API returns me err 34 (resource not found).
any ideas?,
Second doubt, when you retrieve the data of a season from the API, is there a way to know the TVShow (id, name, whatever)?
thanks.

Hi Alvaro,
We do return the season ID in the season call:
The only method this can be used on conjunction with on the API is the changes method. You can use this id for your own internal tracking purposes but I am curious why you want the API to be queried by the ID and not just the season number?
No, there is not currently. Could you elaborate on the use case for this? When you make the call to a season, it contains the show ID so you do know what show you're calling.
Cheers!

Mostly curiosity, I was building a library for the API when I realized that a Season class didn't know to which TVShow it belonged, maybe this should be implemented in the API.
I had the idea of methods like:
tvShow.reload();
season.reload();
Which (re)get the info from the API, but the season was unable because of the lack of a tvShow id var, and neither by simply knowing the Season id.
Obviously I can previously do:
season.setTVShow(tvshow.getID());
season.reload();
But, yeah, I thought (maybe) it could be easier if the API brings me (when I get a season) that info. (same case for Episodes)
thanks.
