Hello,
I began to fill a tv show (Twilight Zone https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/6357-the-twilight-zone?language=fr) with the french overview, the casting list for each episode, the crew for each episode,...
I have a problem with the character name of an actor in a tv show episode. If an actor played in more than one episode of the tv show, his character name is the same for each episode.
With an example, it will be easier to understand :
-the actor is "Pat O'Malley" : https://www.themoviedb.org/person/1239954?language=fr (IMDB : http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0641776/?ref_=tt_cl_t14)
-the episodes where this actor played in the tv show (Twilight Zone) :
-> S01E05 (Walking Distance) : https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/6357-the-twilight-zone/season/1/episode/5?language=fr (IMDB : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0734689/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_5). His character name for this episode is "Mr. Wilson"
-> S02E13 (Back There) : https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/6357-the-twilight-zone/season/2/episode/13 (IMDB : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0734556/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_5). His character name for this episode is "Attendant "
-> S02E20 (Static) : https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/6357-the-twilight-zone/season/2/episode/20 (IMDB : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0734622/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_5). His character name for this episode is "Mr. Llewellyn "
For all these episodes, the character name of the actor "Pat O'Malley" is always the same : "Mr. Wilson", his character name in the episode S01E05. It's only possible to have one character name for an actor in one tv show and not multiple because he played in differents characters in the tv show.
Is it normal behaviour ?
Best regards

Hi, no this was strange, but I found a solution. I deleted the credits and re-added them and now the different names stay put. I have no idea why simply renaming the character names didn't work, but I'll leave it open to see if the admin can find something out.
Thanks for the report!

OK I understand your solution, but it's not very user friendly. I hope an admin can give a better solution
