Wondered whether we could add the following jobs :
Carpenter
Casting Associate
Hair Department Head

You can request missing crew jobs in this topic. The new crew jobs have to be English and free of spelling mistakes. Please specify in which of the following departments each new job should be created: Directing, Writing, Editing, Camera, Production, Art, Costume & Make-Up, Visual Effects, Sound, Lighting, or Crew.
Kindly try to avoid making duplicates job requests (search the last few pages), or requesting crew jobs that are already added to TMDb.

I'm not sure, but I don't think I've seen Weapons Master on the list.

I added one more item. (Was surprised to find that we TMDb didn't have Executive Story Editor already)

The easiest is probably for you to update your original post. Make sure to check that the jobs haven't already been suggested though.

Here is the latest master list of suggested jobs to add. I don't think those have been added yet. And then there are the jobs suggested in the topic since that post. The Master List by Banana is a list of current jobs.

I wanted to suggest adding another job:
Cinematography Assistant/Photography Assistant in the Camera department.
I have been working on a bunch of old Bollywood films these past couple of days, and some of them include credits that simply read Photography Assistant (photography here meaning cinematography, of course), without specifying exactly what their position was. All the Camera department jobs we currently have involve something specific, leaving only Other as a viable candidate, but it does not seem right. I suggest adding the above job to cover it.
EDIT:
For what it's worth, I think there should be a general Assistant job in each department, just like there is a Other job. What do you guys think?
EDIT 2:
Also wanted to suggest a Film Processor job. I'm not sure if it should be added to the Crew or Editing department. This is another common credit in older films. The person, as the name suggests, processes the film. I couldn't find a similar job on the master list.

I don't think the Other job should be there at all... it doesn't tell you anything about what the person did for the movie. I think they should be deleted.

Let's be consistent with the other makeup/hair jobs and make it Makeup/Hair/etc Assistant ? (:
Althought... there is Assistant Costume Designer... but I kinda prefer the assistant on the end b/c then it also appears when searching the regular job D:
but regex searching need to be a thing !! haha

Oh now I get it, you are just referring to the Makeup/ Hair stuff.
If this is the case i think we should have assistant first because everything else have that first.

This isn't a Job request but rather a request to let Comic Book be in Featured Crew like Novel.
Maybe I should created a new discussion but it seamed like it relate to this.
