We try to keep things standard but if there's some that don't follow our conventions let us know (use the "Report" button) and our content moderators can take a look.

"standard" - there is no standard term. I like it one way but there is someone else who prefer some other term. Tomorrow there might be a third person who will came up with a different translation.

These people arent translating it in a wrong manner - just they do have different preferences. So the report option doesnt look very appropriate.

I ask because i would like to keep every translation consistent. Meanwhile i will have to contact each person who contributes and translates differently in order to come up with one common term.

Because i am pushy and annoying i will post again.

How can i synchronize terminology with people that i am not aware that they are actually translating? How can we decide on one specific way of translating (lets say the word "Collection")? How to notify everyone who will start translating in future to comply with that decision?

what´s about having an editable part of collection name and a fixed part of collection name ?

for example "Die Hard Collection" will be split in editable part ("Die Hard") and fixed part ("Collection") so we don´t have these problems?

That is the best way - at least to me. But can it be done? Will it be done? That's completely different.

hmmm.. but I think collection wouldn´t be wrong in these cases as well.. would it?

anyway, even for these cases there could be a dropdown with a very few possibilities to select from (each possibility correctly translated)

I will try something else: Image someone start naming Collections as Series? Collection names are locked but you get the idea. In my case - the translation field (isnt locked) and its a text box in which everyone can enter what he likes - collection, series...

My request is - can we have a system that would ensure consistent translation of "Collection" in "Translated Collection Name"?
