Would it be possible to add a function to the API to get a list of TV Networks?
I have an application where that would be quite handy to limit discussions by network.
Also, I've been waiting for LH-298 (Create the method to list TV genres) for quite some time. I've been holding my breath and I've gone from a shade of blue to an odd purple color. :)
If a monetary donation would help speed that along, I'd be glad to do what I can. I just need where to send it.

Hi Snog,
I'm not sure if a list of TV networks makes sense… TV networks are user created objects just like movies or people and not a set list like genres or countries. What is the use case for having a list? Once you have a bunch of series pulled down you can see their network ids which you could keep track of locally. You can also use them in conjunction with the tv discover method.
With regards to the TV genres, yes, it will be getting looked at soon. I have a lot on my plate and it's just a matter of me finding time to get to it. Thanks for the offer but no donation will speed me up. I already work 40 hours a week on TMDb ;)

The use is a discussion site dedicated to satellite and cable TV. They have forums dedicated to certain networks and I thought if there was a list available that I could limit what TV shows get posted by network for a particular discussion. But if it's a user created object, there's not going to be any real standard to use for network choices. IE: FOX could be Fox Broadcasting Company or just FOX or, NBC can be National Broadcasting Company or just NBC when created by a user.
That's the exact use of the TV Genres, to limit what genres are posted in a particular discussion.
