The Movie Database Support

Hello,

I am sure this has been asked before but just wanted to run it past you before I start doing it. Is it ok to store the images on my webservers local disk. I am finding my website is slowing down as it is making around 25 different image requests to your web server.

If i could store all the images locally it would speed my website up. Credit for the images and data is always given to themovedb as it is not my data. just storing it to make my life easy.

Thanks,

Dale.

Hi Dale,

Storing the images is fine, even encouraged. Just be sure to attribute the source.

Thanks.

Just want to check as the t&c was not very clear on it. It also said you could disable/delete a api key if it was being abuse. By me caching, That's kind of abusing the system for all the data.

Thanks for letting me know.

Dale.
